Generational Jump is a teen volunteer initiative, spearheaded by Meals on Wheels, that bridges the generation gap between America’s youth and senior populations. The program is designed to fulfill a student’s need for community service hours while, at the same time, engaging them in hunger and malnutrition issues that plague our senior population.
Teens receive a minimum of 20 community service hours that can be applied toward any club or organization’s service guidelines. These hours can be accrued on a semester or yearly basis depending on the student’s needs.
